Does anyone know of a good way to store scrapbook papers?
Preferably something that holds 12×12 papers that I can divide by color or occassion. Everything I’ve found on the websites have been extremely too expensive. Thanks for your help!!
I use a grid cube set-up. You can find them on eBay by searching “Scrapbook Paper Storage – Rolling Wire Cube”. But, you can make one on your own – - for much less $$. I went to Target and bought a wire cube kit – - it is square grids that make six cubes – - it is called Organize-It and it is often on sale for just $12. The grids are 14 1/2″ square, so they hold the 12″x12″ paper very nicely. Instead of making all six cubes, I made two cubes stacked on top of each other, and used my own plastic zip-ties to connect the extra grid pieces inside each cube into several levels (up to 8 levels per cube), to separate my papers. You won’t get enough connectors in the kit, so the zip-ties are the easiest and strongest things to use. I suppose you could also use twist-ties. You could buy several kits and make them as tall or wide as you like, depending on how much paper you have to store. You can also reconfigure the cubes anytime you want to change the type of storage you need.
